In most instances, it may be required that the Practice Management System license include an additional user to run X-Link. Many Clinical Software require additional interfacing modules provided by the respective manufacturer. We recommend contacting your various vendors for any additional modules or requirements needed in addition to X-Link.

X-Link is not designed to run on a server operating system (Ex: Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Server 2008) it must be installed on a workstation.

The use of wireless network connection’s with mission critical medical applications (including Practice Management Software, Electronic Health Records, and X-Link) is not recommended due to lack of reliability of wireless network connections.
