Interoperability alive

The HIMSS15 Interoperability Showcase follows the Strong Family through four health journeys which demonstrate a variety of real-life data exchange scenarios from over 100 live clinical information systems, including X-Link Technologies. These standards-based health information exchanges include both acute and ambulatory workflows and the healthcare technology systems which facilitate these processes.

Watch interoperability come to life in a diverse array of care settings in which data flows seamlessly, getting the right clinical and financial data to the right place at the right time. From family planning and delivery to end-of-life care, you will be sure to get a comprehensive vision of what interoperability could mean for you. Every day after the tours, you can relax and watch educational and inspiring interoperability case presentations.

Join X-Link as we take you on a journey through Health Monitoring and Accountable Care. In this scenario, we follow the Strong Family's daughter, Jada Strong as she manages her chronic disease of diabetes in the physicians office and at home. We will be working with a host of vendors including Health Catalyst, SummitHealthCare and MedHost to make sure that the Strong Family's data is accessible in real-time.

X-Link will be receiving clinical data feeds from all of the patients in the Accountable Care Organization's community from the Physician EMR including visiting nurse diagnostic reports, the physicians laboratory order and all of Jada's clinical information. X-Link also gets data feeds from the practice management systems of the physician directly and from the hospital via Health Summit, then assembles the financial costs of services.

How to Improve Interoperability in Care Organizations: PEPS + X-Link HIMSS15 White Paper
This white paper is being presented at HIMSS15 to further demonstrate X-Link's capacity for interoperability. The X-Link and PEPS team is the perfect example of how interoperability for Care Organizations can improve and manage an evidence-based, diagnostically driven medical model. PEPS successfully uses X-Link to access medical records and financial data points gathered from existing caregiver’s software solutions.
